Randy Malamud: Indoors or Outdoors?
I cherish the freedom and independence of non-human animals, but I don't let my animal-companion-cats go outside. I'm not sure why I keep them 'imprisoned' inside. At first, when they were small, they just seemed too delicate for the outside world. We don't live in a particularly dangerous area for cats, but there are cars outside that move pretty quickly, and I guess I'm worried about that. Read more
