Formal Protocols to Aid in Parrot Care and Recovery (8 April, 2008)

The Kerulos Center is partnering with the Santa Barbara Bird Farm and The Association for Parrot C.A.R.E to create an illustrated hardcopy and web-based manual, Through the Eyes of Parrots: Handbook on Sanctuary Design and Care for Trauma Recovery and Care of Psittacine Captives. The materials combine principles of trauma recovery with parrot care, natural history, psychology, and sanctuary design.
